GPO-3 is a rigid fiberglass reinforced composite material with a polyester resin system that is flame retardant and is generally used for electrical and mechanical applications where low cost is desired. GPO-3 is able to withstand higher temperatures compared to GPO-1 and GPO-2 grades and has slightly better electrical properties. It also offers excellent dimensional stability, high impact strength, and good flame and smoke characteristics for a low cost thermoset material.
